For best results, everybody at TSAL believes safety is as important as cost, productivity, or employee relations. Employees are trained to work safely and take all precautions to do so. The safety of all people who work in and with TS Alloys Limited, is the number one priority of the Company.

With the above principles, everybody at TSAL believes safety is as important as cost, productivity, or employee relations. In order to integrated safety culture in the existing management systems of T S Alloys Limited, Safety Excellence Journey was rolled out on 4.05.2011, by Mr. O B Krishna, Chief Corporate Safety–Tata Steel Ltd. The perception of safety as a culture has definitely guided TSAL to march forward in the path of Safety excellence journey. SEJ system has streamlined many other areas to improve safety in the organization with some proactive steps like :-

In addition to these the management seeks to create and sustain a Company culture in which employees share a commitment to HSE. Management along with equal participation from employees discuss all the concerns & improvement initiatives to be taken to make the workplace safe & healthy.
 
Milestones Achieved:
In order to inculcate safety culture in T S Alloys Limited, Safety Excellence Journey was rolled out on 4.05.2011, by Mr. O B Krishna, Chief Corporate Safety – Tata Steel Ltd.
5’S a means to achieve perfection in safety management system was rolled out on 5.09.2012.
Through SEJ we have also rolled out Contractor Management a vital tool to ensure contractor safety was rolled in the month of April-2013.
Zero fatality across the organization since 2007 due to adoption of best practices in safety.
14.09.2012- TSAL has received the Kalinga Safety Award- 2011 for its best practices in safety, health and environment organized by Orissa state safety conclave from his Excellency, the honorable Governor of Orissa Sri Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare. This award has certainly accelerated the spirit of safety in TSAL.
30.11.2012 – TSAL received the Best Safety Performance in TIS Group Award for its best –practices in safety from MD TATA Steel, Mr H M Nerurkar.
LOTO implementation process has been initiated from 18.03.2013.
 
Rechristened as T S Alloys Ltd., the industry has become efficiently operational in record time. It has grown in leaps and bounds and is running successfully in a short time since inception.
